1. Personal Data We Collect

For the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, Hotel KAVIA CANCUN may collect your personal data through the following means:

In person, when you provide it to our employees, by filling out the registration card upon arrival at the hotel or at our reception desk. This also applies when you complete service satisfaction and opinion surveys.

Directly, when you provide it to us by telephone or electronically, by filling out the reservation form on our website, interacting with us on social media, or via email.

Indirectly, when you provide your personal data to one of our suppliers, such as travel agencies or third parties that support us during the reservation process, such as Easy-Rez.com and PayPal.

The personal data obtained or that may be obtained through the aforementioned means includes:

First and last name(s), marital status, address, contact telephone number, nationality, email address, signature, cardholder name, credit card number, expiration date (in the case of online transactions), name or company name for billing, Tax ID (RFC), tax address, and billing email address. Interests or preferences related to the room and services requested. IP address and browser type when obtained electronically.

Please note that Hotel KAVIA CANCUN does not collect data considered sensitive personal data under the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

2. Purpose and Processing of Personal Information

The personal data you provide will be used by Hotel KAVIA CANCUN to provide the following services:

To guarantee a reservation.

To maintain a guest record.

To contact guests when necessary, including completing transactions, addressing any issues related to their stay, in order to provide the best possible service and attention, or in case of emergency.

Obtain billing information if required.

Comply with all legal requirements applicable to Hotel KAVIA CANCUN within the framework of its business relationship with you. This transfer may be national or international, depending on the requesting authority.

Protect the interests and rights of Hotel KAVIA CANCUN, in accordance with applicable laws.

This request must include the following: a) Name of the data subject; b) Email address for receiving notifications; c) Documents proving your identity or, if applicable, the legal representation of the data subject; d) A clear and precise description of the personal data regarding which you wish to exercise your rights and the specific right you wish to exercise; e) Any other information or document that facilitates the location of the personal data. If your request does not meet any of the requirements outlined above, the Personal Data Department may request, within 5 days of receiving your request, that you provide the necessary information or documents to process it. You will have 10 days to respond to this request. If you do not respond within this timeframe, your request will be considered withdrawn.

The maximum processing time will be 20 days from the date your request is received.

Request to be informed of the decision made, so that, if applicable, you may implement it within the following 15 days after the response is issued. To protect your confidentiality, Hotel KAVIA CANCUN will send the response to your request to the email address you provided for this purpose and will keep it available for you at the address indicated in the previous paragraph.

5. ARCO Rights

This refers to your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, or Opposition regarding the information you provide to Hotel KAVIA CANCUN, as established in the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).
